Your Versailles Tour Highlights

Learn More about What You’ll See on Your Versailles Tour

While Versailles is one of the most alluring attractions in the world, visiting it can be overwhelming. Our Versailles Tour is specifically designed to allow our guests to explore the palace in a way that makes it manageable, and stimulating.

During your Versailles tour you’ll get to explore the Hall of Mirrors, the biggest room in the entire Palace of Versailles.  The Hall of Mirrors has no less than 357 mirrors, and a spectacular view of the legendary Versailles gardens.  The site for all of the monarchy’s celebrations in the 17th century, the Hall of Mirrors was also the setting for the signing of the Versailles Treaty, which ended World War One.

The Queen’s Grand Apartments are another piece of Versailles that you’ll get to discover.   On the Parterre du Midi, the Queen’s Apartments align directly with the Apartments of the King.  Although Louis the XIV eventually gave up his apartment, the Queen chose to keep hers, and you’ll get to enjoy her unique overpowering sense of ‘decorative taste’ when you explore her private space.

Known for its elegant proportion, and manageable size, the Grand Trianon was influenced by the leading Italian architects of the time, and is layered with sculptures, paintings, and vases.  The miniature palace is surrounded by a courtyard and a garden filled with perennials, tuberoses, orange blossoms and gorgeous shrubbery.
